Our founding partners possess years of social media and communications experience over multiple platforms.
A University of Kentucky alum, John worked for his family’s company, Thorough-Graphic Signs, while in college and in high school. He also served as a marketing intern at Keeneland and a part-time staff writer at Brisnet.com while in college. In 2013, John accepted a full-time position as a brand ambassador with America’s Best Racing (ABR). He and five other selected colleagues traveled the country in a tour bus promoting the sport of Thoroughbred horse racing to millennials. One of John’s main roles with the ABR Tour was to promote horse racing on various social and digital media platforms.
The tour was not renewed for a second year, and in 2014, John accepted a position as a communications staffer in the Kentucky State Senate, where he also handled social and digital media. He was quickly promoted to director of communications for the Senate Majority Caucus, and continues to hold that position today.
John is an avid sports fan, who enjoys horse racing, football, basketball, and golf. He also is a big fan of all music and has never shied away from a microphone at a karaoke bar.
